As a relative of the family, I send especially heartfelt condolences. I remember Bill and Virginia. My grandfather, Frank Patrick of Quitman, was Lois Patrick Saunders' only brother. My mother, Mary Francis Patrick McGowan, Frank's only child, was Bill's first cousin. If any family would like to communicate, you can email me at [email protected] if desired. Again, my sympathy.

Dear Bill,

I am sorry that I did not get to say good-bye. It broke my heart to see you in the paper. I am surely going to miss our fish tales and boat stories. Thank you for treating me like a true friend and for teaching me so much about the hobby that my son and I love. Can't wait to exchange some more stories with you one day.
