I was watching a weekly TV show called DMV last week. There was a scene that made me think of Will´s laugh. Will had a very jovial, infectious laugh that could be heard throughout the DMV, where we work together. We did a lot of that, laughed. Something funny that made me think of Will´s kindness. It put a smile on my face.

It has been 14 years since your home going brother. I have thought of you often. Your light continues to shine in the lives of many people whom you touched. Continue to rejoice in the presence of the Lord!

"And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largness of heart like the sand on the seashore". (I Kings 4:29).
This verse describes the man of God that I believed Wil was. His giving heart and Godly wisdom will be a great legacy for all of us to remember. Our heart aches for you Dorothy and Cameron because I know how much You loved Wil. While working with Wil at the DMV there in gainesville gave me the opporutnity to see how much he loved you and how proud he was of his family and how much he loved his Savior. As you grieve we pray that you will experience the presence and comfort of God Almighty in the days, weeks and months ahead.
His peace, grace, and mercy be yours.

Will was truly a remarkable man and will be sadly missed. I enjoyed the time that I worked with him at Driver's License and will cherish the memory of his smile always. Love to you and Cameron as well as the rest of the family.

Wil hired me at D10 in August of 2004. He was my superivsor for a year. After he was promoted to a trainer, I attended several of his classes. Wil encouraged me to apply to be a Hearing Officer with BAR. I was hired and his training office is right next to my office. It has been great seeing him all the time. He was a big influence in my life and my new career with DHMV. I will truely miss him.
May God Bless you Dorothy and
Cameron. Love, Mark Wright

Wil, was not only an instructor for DL to me, he was a great friend, and always a joy to be around. He listened to you, and gave solid positive advice. It was an honor to know him and to call him friend.
May this poem and Our Heavenly Father comfort you.
God Saw You...
by Unknown
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

WIL BE SADLY MISSED BY ALL I AM SURE. I WORKED WITH WIL FOR 6 YEARS AT DDL IN GAINESVILLE AND DURING THAT TIME HE TAUGHT ME MANY THINGS. WHAT STICKS OUT IN MY MIND IS THE LOVE FOR HIS LORD. HE ALLOWED ME TO USE MY TALENTS AT THE DDL OFFICE WHEN NOBODY WOULD AND HAD FAITH IN ME. WE LAUGHED TOGETHER AND HE HELPED ME WHEN LIFE WAS HARD FOR ME. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM AS A KIND WONDERFUL PERSON WHO ACTUALLY CARED AND TREATED ME FAIRLY. HE WOULD BRIGHTEN UP MY DAY. GOD BLESS ALL OF HIS FAMILY FOR HIS LOSS.

I was only privileged to have met Will in 2007 but he made an impression which makes me feel priviledged to have met him. He was my instructor for DL training and he was very attentive to our questions and taught in such a way it was easy to comprehend and retain. You are in my prayers and always remember your husband/dad was very special to a lot of people.

Dear Dot and Cameron
When I first met Wil in 1992, it was love at first sight. Every day with him was a blessing. Last night I thought about the song “this little light of mine I’m going to let it shine”.Wil’s light was never little, it glowed all around him.

Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead. Know that God will see you through these times. When Wil would come home and visit, he would always stop by my mother's home to see if there were any sweets. He will be truly missed.
