Shirley Ann Chastain Whitlock Obituary

Shirley Ann Chastain Whitlock, 62, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. She was born in Hiawassee, Ga., daughter of the late Laura and Vic Chastain.

She is survived by her husband, Swayne Whitlock; two children, Jamey Whitlock of Gastonia and Shane Whitlock and wife Emily of Dallas; one stepchild, Shirley Shuler and husband David of Gainesville, Ga.; three grandchildren, Audrey, Aniston and Masen Whitlock; two stepgrandchildren, Elaina Daigle and Chad Shuler; two brothers; four sisters; and three step-great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Whitlock will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at the Rankin Lake Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Loftis officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
