Tom Swindle Obituary

Died June 12, 2016

Tom Swindle, 54 of Flowery Branch, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday June 12, 2016.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Mattie Lou Swindle of Ila, Ga. and Ray and Alene Owen of Gainesville.

Tom is survived by his parents Leon and Carolyn Swindle of Flowery Branch; daughters Katie Weeks and Ashley Swindle of Flowery Branch; brother Terry Swindle of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law Mark and Suzy Swindle of Alpharetta; and grandsons and granddaughters Cadence, Landon, Kinsley and Haley.

Tom was a devoted father, grandfather, son and brother. He loved God and his family and often put others needs above his own.

He was retired from the United States Postal Service, currently employed with Transcare Medical in Lawrenceville and he was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Gainesville.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home, Gainesville. Funeral services will be Saturday June 18, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Tim Sexton and Rev. James Mills. Interment will be at Memorial Park South Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Beginnings Ministry, 1258 Greater Hope Road, Martin, Ga., in memory of Tom Swindle.
