Guy Higgins Obituary

Guy Franklin "Frank" Higgins, 76, of Galax, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, in the Waddell Nursing Home.
He was born in Carroll County on April 3,1940, to Emmett and Maxine Amburn Higgins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Ann Bowers Higgins.
Survivors include his daughter and her wife Teresa Diane and Monica Higgins of Folsom, Calif.; son and his fiance', Gary Higgins and Kim Warren of Moorehead City, N.C.; a grandson; brother, Joe Higgins of Galax; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy J. Key officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 p.m. until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
