Pauline Alice Allison Obituary
She was born in Galax on Sept. 20, 1914, to Harvey E. and Hattie Jeanette Freeman Kirby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Burton Allison.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carlene and Wayne Damba of Lexington, N.C.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held March 4, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the McMillan Ministries with Pastor James Cowley, the Rev. Stacy Redd and the Rev. David Long officiating. Burial followed in the Monta Vista Cemetery.
McMillan Ministries is in the old Hillcrest Baptist Church Building.

My prayers go out to the families. She will be greatly missed. Imagine-everyone around her singing as she is playing the piano. What a sound.!!! This lady is rejoicing!!!
