CRESTLINE - Carol Lee White, 78, of Crestline passed peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Mill Creek Nursing Home.
Carol was born on October 29, 1946, in Crestline, and quickly adopted into the loving arms of Kenneth and Martha (Kramer) Morton.
Carol White was a proud graduate of the Crestline High School Class of 1964. During high school, she attended Pioneer to study medical transcription, setting the foundation for a lifelong career in healthcare. In 1973, Carol graduated from the Mid-Ohio Practical Nurse Program in Mansfield and went on to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse, caring for others with skill and compassion. After many years of dedicated service, she later transitioned into a new role at Kable Fulfillment in Marion, where she worked until her retirement.
Carol lived life to the fullest and found joy in simple pleasures. She loved gardening, swimming, volleyball, dancing, joking with friends, fishing, and playing bingo. She enjoyed a memorable trip to Canada, which she often described as breathtakingly beautiful. Whether she was taking scenic drives along the back roads or cheering at the drag races in Norwalk, Carol embraced adventure with enthusiasm and humor.
A lifelong animal lover, Carol once cared for some unique pets, including a raccoon named Gertrud and a skunk named Mabel, along with countless cats and dogs throughout the years. Her kindness and affection for animals were constants in her life.
Carol deeply cherished her friends at Mill Creek Nursing Home, especially the caring staff who became like family to her.
Carol's memories will be cherished by her daughters: Shelley (Justin) Brewer of Crestline, and Kelley Bailey of Shelby; and her grandchildren: Blaine Barker, Cameron Bailey, Alicia Bailey, Caiden Bailey, Xander Brewer and Victoria Brewer, and great-grandchildren: Tyler White-Joplin and Boston Bailey.
