Alice Jackson Obituary
Born May 16, 1938 in Clearfield she was the son of Jesse J. and Ina Pearl (Ogden) Irwin.
She delivered dry cleaning for Sparkles Dry Cleaning in Curwensville, had been a waitress for The Branding Iron, a Manager at Magic Market, and worked for JP Brown Drug Store in Nashville TN.
She is survived by three children Leroy J. Zortman (Diane) Curwensville, Daniel A. Zortman (Jan) TN., and Teena M. Schelebo (Jack) Curwensville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren April Lawrence (Matt), Amber Zortman, fiancé RJ; Andrew D. Zortman; Lacey Van Valkenburg, fiancé Eric Flanagan; Heaven Van Valkenburg, fiancé Ernest Tavares; and Katlyn Polites; seven great- grandchildren and two brothers Jesse J. Irwin Jr. (Connie) AZ, and George Irwin of N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandsons Lee Roy Zortman, and James Allen Van Valkenburg, and three sisters Anna, Betty, and Cindy.
Funeral services for Alice Jackson will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Tuesday, October 11, 2023 at 11 AM with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating.
Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 3-7 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM till the time of services at 11 AM.
