Chester Felczak Obituary

Chester J. Felczak, Jr., age 79 of Sykesville, PA died Friday, July 18, 2025 at his home.

Born on February 8, 1946 in Winston-Salem, NC, he was the son of the late Chester J. and Francis (Dancy) Felczak, Sr.

Chet married Karen (Zimmerman) Felczak. She preceded him in death on August 9, 2000.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Chet retired from the DuBois Regional Medical Center Security Department in 2008. Previous to that, he had worked as a driver at Ward Trucking Company for over 25 years.

He was a life member of the Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department and had previously been an EMT for the Sykesville Ambulance.

Chet also enjoyed automobile racing and watching all things Pittsburgh sports.

He is survived by 2 sons (Tim Felczak of Sykesville, PA and Kevin Felczak of Reynoldsville, PA), 2 grandchildren (Skylar and Brandon Felczak), a great grandchild (Kaden Sullivan), a sister (Bonny Felczak of Winston-Salem, NC), and a brother (Michael Felczak of Stump Creek, PA).

He was preceded in death by his sister (Deborah Clontz).

As per Chet's wishes there will be no public visitation.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
