Linda Summerson Obituary
Born July 30, 1959 in Renova, she was the daughter of the late Glenn B. and Edna O. (Schmoke) Summerson.
Surviving are her siblings, Andy Summerson and wife Joann, Osceola Mills; Cynthia Summerson, Houston, TX; Tracy Perryman and husband Jesse, Bellefonte; Melissa McCracken and husband Ron, Philipsburg; Neal Summerson and wife Penny, Wakefield, KS; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leard Schmoke and sister Mary Johnson.
Linda had attended West Branch High School, Allport. She was employed by Super 8, Hotel, State College. She loved to travel and also loved birds, dogs and horses.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 2-4:00 PM at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.

I remember the look on her face the first time she held my oldest son an hr after he was born. She was proud to be an aunt but even more proud to have a special relationship with her great nephew. Only wish she could still be here to hold the same relationship with my youngest son come January when he's due
