Martin Colton Obituary

Martin C. Colton, 78, of Selinsgrove died on February 10, 2025, at Selingsgrove Center, in Selingsgrove, PA.

Born on June 18, 1946, in Ramey, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Harchak) Colton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Kinkopf and Diane Davis "Gigie"; and two brothers, Henry and Terry Colton.

Martin is survived by his brother Joseph, and his wife Joan Colton of Smithmill, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martin had an infectious smile that was so engaging, as he was able to captivate any person that came into his presence. He was a devout Catholic with a strong faith, and he loved attending and participating in mass. Martin loved his Selinsgrove Center family of caregivers and the group outings they would attend at Knoebel's Grove Amusement Park (he especially loved rides on the Ferris Wheel and train) and so many other activities and events. He loved Santa Claus (Ho-Ho), animals (especially dogs), fire trucks, lottery scratch off tickets, cotton candy, ice cream, and visits from his sister "Gigie", nieces and nephews from Ohio, his niece Janeen Klaus (York Haven), and his buddy Michael Bodinsky (Annville).

Requiem Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Barbara's Polish National Catholic Church.

Friends and family will be received at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701, Lingle St., Osceola Mills on Tuesday, February 18th, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Barbara's Polish National Cemetery in Ramey.
