Ann Elizabeth Curry

CHARLOTTE – Ann Elizabeth Curry, 47, departed this life on Dec. 23, 2013 at the Levine Dickson Hospice House Huntersville, North Carolina.
She attended public school in Gaston County. She was employed by Gaston Memorial Hospital Gastonia in the mail department, Wachovia Bank of Charlotte as Processing and Special Accounts Clerk, Bank of America Charlotte as Customer Service/ Support-Research & Adjustments Clerk, recently at CMC Concord as a Medical Records Clerk and part time at the Charlotte Observer.
She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, N.C. Ann made many friends over her life. She was a dedicated mother and wife to her family. She was committed to her family and friends with a hospitable smile that she wore so well. She was one that would put herself last and others first as she served in love. You could even catch her greeting members and visitors at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church on a Sunday morning.
Ann leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of twenty three years Ralph Jacob Curry. Two daughters Etonia and Anaya Curry all of Charlotte, NC. A step-mother Dorcas Enlow of Gastonia. One sister Yolanda Williamson (Kenneth) of Gastonia, twin brothers George Alfred Enlow (Nichelle) of Tacoma, Wash., Bishop George Albert Enlow (Crystal) of Lincolnton. A father-in-law James Curry. Sister-in-laws Joann Mar-shall (Lee), Georgetta Rush, Gail Addison (Jasper) all of Moncks Corner, S.C. Brother-in-laws James Curry (Vanessa) of Charlotte. Leon Curry (Barbara) of Lawton, Okla. A special niece Yovonda Burris-Borner (Ryan) and a host of other nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 28, 2013 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church 200 Sims Pkwy, Harrisburg, N.C. 28075. Visitation will be one hour before the service and other times at the home 932 Lunsford Place, Charlotte, N.C. 28205.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Costner Funeral Home, Inc is serving the Curry family.
