Annie Rick Obituary

BESSEMER CITY - Annie Faye Bolick Rick, 77, passed away Oct. 7, 2012, at her home.

She was born July 15, 1935, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Benjamin William Bolick and Lillie Mae Griffith Bolick.

Mrs. Rick was a member of New Life Baptist Church, Bessemer City. She loved her family and had many hobbies, two of which she enjoyed the most were gardening and flower arranging.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Mrs. Rick.

A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Rick's life will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at New Life Baptist Church, 614 South 11th St., Bessemer City, officiated by Dr. Gene Ware and the Rev. Dennis Gomez.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

Mrs. Rick is survived by: daughter Linda Davidson of Bessemer City and fiancé Jerry Angel; brother, Richard Bolick of Belmont; companion and close friend, Dennis Carpenter of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Billy Dameron and wife Jonie of Nebo, NC,
Shannon Murray and husband Michael of Bessemer City , Chris Long of Dallas; seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her first husband, Woodrow Landrum; second husband, Elmer Rick; daughter, Judy Carpen-ter; brothers, Arthur Bolick, James V. Pate.

Memorials may be sent to New Life Baptist Church c/o Youth Fund, P.O. Box 1258, Bessemer City, NC 28016.

The West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia is serving the Rick family.
