April Ramsey Obituary
She was born in Gaston County, North Carolina. April will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter. She did not lose her battle with cancer. She lived graciously and courageously with it until the very end. April touched many lives in so many ways she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her! April was employed by Telerx of Kings Mountain.
Left to cherish her memories include her loving husband Mickey Ramsey, sons, Gabriel and Daniel and daughter, Alyssa; mother, Patricia Seate and her husband William; father, Ron Huffman and wife May; her mother and father-in-law, Scott and Kim Phillips; sisters, Misty Jackson and Elizabeth Seate; several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 28 at Epic Church, 100 Indian Walk, Lowell, N.C. with Pastor Chad Collins officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with the releasing of the doves.
Family extends heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Gaston Hospice for their kind and compassionate care for April and their family during this difficult time.
Memorials may be made to Epic Church, Post Office 1082, Gastonia, NC 28053.

If you knew April, you loved April. Her kind heart and fun, silly personality wins over everyone. Her positivity and courage left a lasting impression. She isn't like anyone else I know and the world took a bitter loss in her passing. I'll miss seeing her beautiful smile at work and talking about our babies. It broke my heart and dampened my day when I found out the news about April. Some people sometimes just write nice things about people to be nice, but I must say from my experience knowing April EVERY word said in her obituary is absolutely true. April was always smiling and kind. She had a sweet Spirit about her; and she never changed in the 6 years that I knew hetr. I will truly miss her!
April is definitely an Angel in that Heaven who earned her wings!

My heart is heavy knowing that Aprils bright smile is no longer here to make the workplace shine. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. Her energy was felt anytime she walked in a room, and we will miss her dearly. She was so kind to everyone she met, and was one of the most genuine people I've ever known. I am thankful to have had the change to know her these short 3 years, and consider it a privilege to have met such an inspirational soul. She will be missed dearly.

I know April through her husband who is a co-worker and watched the person he has grown into because of her influence and know the wonderful person she was for him and their children. Though I didn't know her personally my prayers go out to the family. I met April and her husband when they came to my house and bought something and I thought what a beautiful couple, and what a beautiful soul this lady has. She was so very kind as was her husband. From the very first time I met April, I knew that we would be great friends. She is a great person, loving, sharing, and always thinking of others. She is great at budgeting and when we would go out she knew what she wanted and would not buy more than what was on her list. She would always tell me, do you really need to buy that. Honestly, I could go on with other specials moments we had and talked about. One thing I know is that her family meant everything to her and we all will miss her! April I'll always remember you as my first hair stylist, my crayon throwing partner in crime (man did my mom get mad), and experiencing the sighting of my first willow together! As we grew up and apart our paths crossed again working together at Target and parted ways once again only to wind up working together years later for Telerx. You showed me strength, how to be a leader, an overall great person and I can still hear the sound of your voice getting on to those in clerical. God has a way of bringing people in your life for a reason and you taught me so much. My heart breaks knowing you are gone but I will NEVER forget the joy and kindness you showed everyone.
