Arthur Gordon Obituary

GASTONIA - Arthur Gordon Sr., 93, 1910 S. Winget St., died Nov. 10, 2014, at Belaire Health Care Cen-ter, Gastonia.

A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Lonnie Gordon and Marie Neely Gordon.

The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Friday at the church.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Costner Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.

I wish to extend my condolences in the passing of your Father and Grandfather. May God comfort your hearts and replace the sorrow with great memories as you celebrate the long well-lived life of Mr Arthur. My prayers are with you all at this time. He was always so good to me, I will remember his kindness always. I thank God for the life he lived and the joy he gave to so many.
