Frankie Warren Obituary
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 67 years, Ralph Jenkins Warren and brother Thomas Jackson.
She will be missed by her two sons, Jerry and wife Gayle Warren, and Michael A. Warren, all of Gas-tonia; Grandchildren, Dana W. Buckley (John), Greg T. Warren (Finance' Darlene) and Michael A. War-ren, Jr., Three great-grandchildren, Stewart and Lydia Warren and Sara Buckley.
Sometimes labeled as relentless by her family, and she was, in her devotion to God and family, her at-tention to details in everything she undertook, perfection in quilting and sewing, and mostly her abun-dant affection for children. She taught second graders in Sunday school and VBS for over 50 years. She was known for her "giggles" and home "hugging hall". She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dot was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church where she was very active, serving on various com-mittees. Her strong Christian faith and love of God, church and family inspired others.
A celebration of her life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Sandy Plains Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Brown officiating and Dr. Stephen Hensley.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park with The Releasing of the Doves
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her cherished Sandy Plains Baptist Church Children's Sunday School Fund, 5323 Union Road, Gastonia, NC 28056
The Warren family would like to thank the staff of Peak Resources, Hospice House of Kings Mountain, and Martha Ann Nolen of Sandy Plains Church for their love and support.
