Jerome Patterson Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Dillard and Fannie Clark Patterson.
He is survived by his brother, Tommy Joe Patterson and wife Carolyn of Monroe, N.C.; sister, Pamela Patterson White of Gastonia, and sister, Heather Patterson Fama and husband Michael of Daniels, W.Va. He also is survived by nephews and nieces, Zachary White and wife Ashley of Raleigh, Nicole, Taylor, Eli and Rachel Fama of Daniels. He also leaves behind his special little "puppy brother," Blu, who was his best friend.
Jerome was born Dec. 17, 1960 in Gastonia and attended Robinson Elementary and Ashbrook High School.
He served in the 505th National Guard Engineering Battalion in Gastonia for 13 years, and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Jerome was a faithful friend to many, loved the outdoors, nature, God and Country, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Dec. 1, 2014 at 7 p.m. in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

So sorry for the loss of your Husband and Brother now. Clayton was one of the most respected men I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Jerome and I worked and occasionally fished together. He really loved the outdoors. All our love Pam.
