Jerry Bridges Obituary
She was born Jan. 13, 1948, in Gaston County, daughter of the late John and Rain Mayne Bowen.
Jerry was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Jerry Willard.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
She is survived by her husband, James Bridges; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Donna Kennedy of Cramer-ton, Larry and Deon Kennedy of San Diego, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Tony Murphy of Lincoln-ton; brothers, Terry Bowen of Lincolnton, Bob Bowen of Ranlo; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, Gastonia.

I'm so sorry for your loss.I knew Jerry for alot of years.We grew up in Mcadenville.I know she is with God now.God please bless and comfort her family.

James, Please know that I am praying for you during this difficult time. I always enjoyed caring for you and Jerry. She had to deal with a lot of pain each day. Even tho I do not work anymore at Caromont Lowell McAdenville, I still consider the patients there my friends. It makes me sad to loose a friend and Jerry was a friend.

I was sorry to hear about Jerry. We used to have some great times together when we were growing up. I used to spend a lot of time at her house. I know she will be missed. We love you and will be praying for you.
