Mike Huss Obituary
He was born in Gaston County, to the late George Brice Huss, Jr., and Mickie Thomas Huss.
Mike retired from Freightliner with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Hardin Huss; his children Lisa Laib, Jennifer Chandler, Somer Lawrence (Mike), Kelli Huss(Joe Touvell); stepdaughter Niki Knight (Wayne) stepson, Mike Owens; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister, Candace Hulsey and brother, Joe S. Huss and a niece Amy Pittinaro and his mother-in-law, Lillian Carpenter.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday, March 19 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service at 4 p.m. in the Chapel Interment will be private.
Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, c/o Robin Johnson House, Post Office Box 3984, Gastonia, NC.

Mike will be truly be missed among his friends and coworkers at Freightliner. I had a lot of respect for him and we always shared a lot of laughs. I will keep the family in my prayers.
