The family of Phyllis Dean Brown wish to express our sincere gratitude toward the kindness shown in our dear daughter and siter's death. We thank everyone who sign the online register as well as cards received in the mail. We had her for 59 years, and she was our sister, mother, friend, cheerleader, and advocate. We rejoice knowing that she is with Jesus.

For whatever the reason our Heavenly Father called home our dear friend Phyllis Brown, we will always remember her as a faithful servant of Christ, a loving Sister in the Lord and a friend to all. She will be greatly missed at First Assembly and her life surely exemplified a real Christian. I shall not forget her outstreched arms as she embraced me on her last Sunday at church. I had been in the hospital and had returned from an illness. I know she had been praying for me. Phyllis asked for nothing and gave everything. Our love and prayers go out to the family at this time. OUR GOD IS REAL!

My heart is torn because I know Phyllis is with Jesus, but I miss her very much. Phyllis has been a true friend to me over the last few months during one of the most difficult times in my life. She has exemplified a "true" example of what Jesus commanded us to do in His word. My life will forever be changed because God allowed Phyllis to be my friend. Phyllis touched my life and many others in our church in so many ways. Please accept my deepest sympathy and my prayer is that Jesus will comfort you through this time.

Me & my 3 gals are gonna miss you SO MUCH. Phyllis, you were one of the most giving persons I knew. You gave to so many others & to me & the girls so many times-for no reason, even while being unemployed. You never once thought about yourself first in the many times we were together or talked on the phone. The love of God was definitely exemplified in your life as He shined through all the time. I know that you are at rest, & that your family is already feeling the loss tremendously, as me & my family do. We will see you soon, because it won't be long until Jesus calls his People home.

i wish i could tell the family how wonderful it always was to be able to see her at church (on the sundays i didn't work)... she always had a smile to share to all. it will be hard not seeing her at church anymore... yet, i know she is in the presence of Jesus... an old saying says that, two friends in Jesus that are seperated by a death are not that far apart; for in Jesus we are one... i had the privilege of working with her a couple of Christmas' ago; when she decided to pick up a part-time job where i work... she was always a joy to work with... May her joy and love of Jesus surround your family at this time and always...
