Phyllis Goodman Obituary

CROUSE - Phyllis Katherine Pfeifer Goodman, 68, of Shoal Road, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1948, in Lincoln County to Ruby Black Clough of Crouse and the late Robert Charles Pfeifer Sr.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services and at other times at the home.

Phyllis was my mother's beautician for many years. Mama's Friday appointment was often the highlight of her week. Phyllis was always compassionate and helpful as Mama's health declined. The person who called to tell me Phyllis had passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home said Mama and her friend, Mary Helen, were there to welcome Phyllis.
Wade and family, you are in my prayers as you go through the days ahead. May those days be easier with your memories and the assurance that you will see Phyllis again.
