Richard Cooler Obituary
Richard was an employee of Carolina Foods, Inc. and he loved to play video games.
Richard is survived by his mother and step-father, Lillie Cattles Gregory and Eric Gregory; one sister, Debra Parker and her husband, Willie; special niece, Tiffani Cooler and many aunts, uncles.
The family will have a private visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home.
Burial will be private and at a later date.

I remember Jason as a teen ❤. We had some good times growing up on D road. He had a great funny corky personality that always made you smile. Cutting jokes and getting on your nerves at times but he was always fun to be around. He was part of our village family. As time has passed we all grew apart and took different paths but the memories will always remain in our hearts. Rest peacefully until we meet again.....

Richard was a good man, honestly kept me smiling and laughing on those nights at work, such a sweet soul, Im happy to have known him and happy I have the memory of him and our restaurant team closing up and having a great time! Gone But never forgotten!!

Cooler will be missed by many and remembered fondly. He was one of the kindest and most gentle people Ive ever known. Quick to accept others for who they were and had a heart of gold. He was funny and had the best smile! Those are the things Ill remember him for and he will never be forgotten.

Ive never witnessed someone so determined and motivated, even despite his mishaps in life...he was always smiling, even when he was car less and riding his bicycle to work everyday...he was determined to get his license back and buy him a car, he was sooooo happy, and I was soooo happy and proud of him that day when he got that car...your going to truly be missed Richard, here at Carolina Foods...
