Stephanie Vernon Obituary

GASTONIA - Stephanie Michelle Emory Vernon, 34, went to be with the Lord July 4, 2010.

Stephanie was born March 8, 1976, in Atlanta, Ga.

Survivors include her mother, Linda Martin Martinez of Gastonia. Children, Micah Newton of Gastonia, Evan and Pey-ton Laux of Sumter, SC. Aunt, Regina and husband Allen. Uncle, Billy Martin and wife Tammy of Dallas, NC. She was pre-ceded in death by her Grandmother, Nellie Mae Hayes and a brother, William Robert "Tobob" Emory.

Stephanie was a participant in The Bessemer City Junior High Beauty Pageants, Received her GED in 1991 and had graduated from the Carolina School of Cosmetology as a nail technician. She had also been a student at the Gastonia Pot-ter's House. She was a loving mother and a caring person who will be missed by her family and friends.

A service to celebrate Stephanie's life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Church, 1506 Union Road, Gas-tonia with the Rev. Mike Goodwin officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to The Gastonia Potter's House, P.O. Box 322, Lowell, NC 28098.

Stephanie, There is not a day go by that I dont think about when we hung out. You are truely a great person. No matter what life threw at you, you handled it full force. I will miss you terribly, but you are now with God, and no longer suffering. You now have peace
