David Graham Obituary

David Graham

Charlotte, NC - David Graham passed away May 27, 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was 72. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the son of the late Eugene and Shirley Graham.

He loved music, and at the age of 12 he won the Texaco Opera Quiz. He knew all of the classical operas and could discuss the different composers and recordings of his favorites. He could recite the names of all the presidents and he knew the local train schedules by heart.

He served honorably in the United States Coast Guard and after his enlistment, he went to work at the United States Post Office. He was known for never missing a day of work. He was a man of great faith, and he believed in the power of prayer.

He leaves his brother Kevin and sister in law Maritza of Florida, sister Miriam of Massachusetts and sister Bronwyn and brother in law Rob of Florida, along with many nieces and nephews and his dear friend Pat Cole and family.

A celebration of life will be held later in the year at Disney World. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name could be made to the Community Music School or Jericho Bureau of Exceptional Children and Adults.
