Pauline Osley Obituary
West Hatfield, MA - Pauline (Widelo) Osley, 95, of West Hatfield, passed away at her home on Tuesday December 26, 2023. She was born in Williamsburg on November 25, 1928, she was the ninth of 12 children born to the late Henry and Victoria (Morawski) Widelo.
She was educated in local schools and graduated from Smith Academy, class of 1946. Pauline had worked for the former New England Telephone Company as an operator and supervisor. After her marriage to Michael Osley, she became a homemaker. She was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for over 20 years and also volunteered at the Hatfield Council on Aging. Pauline was a communicant of former Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality, now Our Lady of Grace. She enjoyed gardening, Bingo, and playing cards at the VFW pitch league.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Widelo of Leesburg, Virgina, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Her four Godchildren, Pat Walsh, Maria DelHagen, Anne Marie Lattanzio and Michael Sokoloski.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Michael Osley in 1989, her brothers, John, Frank, Carl, Chester, Henry, Leon, Alex, and Thomas, her sisters Helen Sokoloski and Mary Jablonski.
As per Pauline's wishes, there will be a private calling hour for family and close friends from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME OF NORTHAMPTON. A prayer service will begin at 11 AM in the Funeral Home, followed by burial in Spring Grove Cemetery, Florence.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's memory to, Hatfield Council on Aging, 59 Main St., Hatfield, MA 01038.

Pauline was our neighbor in West Hatfield for years! Very special lady who would give you the shirt off her back! She and my mom sewed together and shared many wonderful recipes! I was fortunate to know this lovely person.
