July 26, 1929 - Nov. 13, 2004
Priscilla Ann Elek Pecaut passed on Saturday. She was 75.
Known variously throughout her life as "Amtrak Angel," "Toots," "Piroska" and "Mommy," our beloved Nagymama (Grandmother) passed on. Wherever she went, she reflected faith, hope and love. Whether she was at church, in the garden, or traveling to see her friends and loved ones, she lit up everyone's life. Her Hungarian background brought strong family traditions with festive gatherings and delicious food.
Along with nine wonderful grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, she is survived by her brother, Frank Elek; daughters, Elona Elek, Marsha Pecaut Moersch and Tiona Lotspeich; and son, Andrew Pecaut.
She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Duane Maurice Pecaut.
Priscilla will join her parents, Andrew and Helen Elek, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
Everyone who was touched by Nagymama's smile and charm is invited to join a Thanksgiving service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, at First Church of Christ, Scientist in Corvallis.
