Helen Socha Obituary
She enjoyed many sports teams like the Green Bay Packers, UW Badgers, and watching NASCAR. Helen loved spending time with her family. She spent lots of her time in Edgar, WI at Andrew's homestead and liked going to Devil's Lake.
Helen is survived by her children: Catherine (Bill) Winterrowd, Dave (Terri) Socha, and Mike (Jill) Socha; her grandchildren: Jake Socha, Jeff Mahlum, Stacy (Scott) Thomas, Jenna Socha, and Andrea (Cody) Hedington; great-grandchildren: Bella, Madison, Kennedy, Addyson, Landon, Hank, Sawyer, Jace, and Jett; brother Jim (Marge) Omelian Sr; goddaughters: Brenda Lewis and Patty Thompson; godson John Omelian; her beloved little companions: Mysha and Muffy.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings: Ronny and Donny Omelian; godson Jerry Jagmin; and best friend and neighbor Bonnie (Hugh) Prochaska.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 12:00 pm at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 315 Cherry St, Janesville. Visitation will take place from 10:30 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Milton Lawns Memorial Park. APFEL WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, Janesville is assisting the family. Memorials are appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences may be made at www.apfelwolfe.com
