Jeanette Reddy Obituary

Jeanette Twila (Bell) "Jaye" Reddy Sun City, AZ - Jeanette (Jaye) Twila Reddy of Sun City, AZ, formerly of Janesville, WI died peacefully at home on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Jaye was the fourth child born to Frank and Bernadine Bell on September 19, 1940. She graduated from Joseph A. Craig Senior High School in 1959. On December 5, 1959 she married the love of her life, Floyd E. Reddy Jr. They were wed at Cargill Methodist Church in downtown Janesville. From this union they were blessed with three children Wade, Gail, and Kyle.

As a child, Jaye survived rheumatic fever after a year of recovery; her tenacity and strong will overcame personal setbacks throughout her life. Gail's death at age 22, from cancer, caused her deep grief that added stress to her already weakened heart. Even so, she will be remembered for her strength. She cared for her husband and supported her sons in every way. Jaye and Floyd loved being grandparents and their grandchildren loved her infectious laugh and vivacious personality. She made friends easily and channeled her competitive side through bridge and card clubs.

Jaye is survived by her sons Wade (Liz) Reddy, Shawnee, KS, Kyle (Lori) Reddy Janesville, WI, grandchildren Jessica (Patrick) Lai, Joseph (Raquel) Reddy, Jacob (Emma) Reddy, and two great grandchildren Trygve and Bjorn. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Gail, sisters Gloria, Grace, and Joyce.
