Joseph F. "Joe" Golla

1956 - 2025

Janesville, WI - Joseph 'Joe' F. Golla, 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at MercyHealth Hospital and Trauma Center. He was born June 1, 1956, in Janesville, WI, to the late Anton E. and Shirley M. (Dampier) Golla. He graduated from Craig High School in 1975. Joe served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Joe worked for over 20 years with Van Galder Bus Company as a coach bus driver. After leaving that job, he went on to be an Over-the-Road truck driver before his health forced him to retire.

Joe loved his parents immensely, especially his mom. He also enjoyed traveling, wrestling, and gambling.

Joe is survived by his sisters: Sharon (Larry) Glende and Barbara Hall; nieces and nephews: Larry (Andrea) Glende Jr., Danielle Glende, Arizona (Glen) Kalde, Michael (Robin) Hall, Amber McNulty, and Melissa McNulty; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Shirley; and a brother-in-law, Ed Hall.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the APFEL WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, 21 S. Austin Rd, Janesville. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences may be made at www.apfelwolfe.com
