Peter Blija Obituary
While at UW- Eau Claire, Pete met his wife, Katie (Leathem). They married in 1990 and had three wonderful sons. Pete was a Jack of all Trades with the soul of a creator. He loved hunting, fishing and just being outside.
Pete was preceded in death by his mother, Anita. He is survived by his wife, Katie, his three sons, Matthew, Michael and Steven; his father, John; his brother, Mikel; mother-in-law, Jean Van Acker; brother-in-law James (Janet) Leathem and sister-in-law Chris (Eddy) Zhe. He will also be missed by six nieces and nephews along with many other special family and friends.
A Celebration of Pete's Life will be held at ROCK PRAIRIE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 8605 E. County Hwy A, Janesville on Saturday January 18, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to the time of the service.
The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice for their care and service in the last weeks of Pete's life.
