Sharon Torpy Obituary
Sharon was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a women's card club for over 50 years. She was also named to the "50 people that matter" in Janesville for her volunteer work. Sharon enjoyed painting, reading, golfing and most of all time spent with her family.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jack Torpy; children: Richard (Bonnie) Torpy, James (Kristin) Torpy and Mary (Rodney) Moe; 10 grandchildren: Connor, Erin, Julia, Civet, Tyler (Megan), Jacob (Sara), Mackenzie (Tanner), Adam, Brianna; Great grandchildren: Everly, Taytum and Wesley; sisters, Shelby (Gordon) Swiggum and Kay (Gary) Muth and numerous extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her father; parents, Gordon and Lucille Wallace; granddaughter, Katlyn and 3 sisters: Betty, Audrey and Shirley.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Agrace Hospice.
The family would like to thank Sun Valley Home and Agrace Hospice for their excellent care and support.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Janesville; visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
