of Janesville, WI - My mother, Vicki Lynne Weissinger, age 80, passed away at Cedar Crest on August 30, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1945 in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Delos and Ethel (Parr) Jacobs. On May 6, 1995, she married the love of her life, Gregory Weissinger.

My mother was a hard-working woman. She was very committed to everything and anything in her life. She left a smile on the face of everyone she met, never saying a bad word about anyone. She was always using her knowledge to help people and not taking anything in return; she just loved helping people until dementia.

This cruel and heartless disease very slowly took over all of her mind, body, soul, and dignity. As well as her ability to walk, talk, speak and to remember anyone she ever loved and who loved her back. Until it finally left her completely empty.

My mother left us years ago and was finally laid to rest and is at peace. I love you Mom and may you now find happiness and all you had been looking forward to. We will always remember the woman you were to the very end before dementia.

Mom is survived by daughter, Juli (Brian) Kahl; siblings: Judy Behl, Holly Atkinson, Gloria Brown, Bonnie Graves, Delos "Butch" Jacobs, and Daniel Jacobs; grandchildren: Natasha Larson, Nicole Kahl, and Lindsay Lisiecki; and numerous great grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregory; parents; son, Byan K. Burdick; and brother, Ronald Jacobs.

With this being said I hope everyone will understand that there will be no services, please keep mom in your hearts. Dementia may have taken part of you from us, but you will always be in our hearts with your flawless, kind smile.
