Wayne McCann Obituary
Wayne was employed as a concrete foreman with Fry Foundation in Milton, retiring after 45 years. Wayne was an outdoorsman at heart. He was an avid hunter, hunting with the same group of friends for over 50 years and was a voracious reader of multiple genres. His love for animals was well apparent between the many dogs he rescued over the years and the colony of feral cats that he made a safe sanctuary for in his yard. Most of all, he will be remembered as a kind, loyal, hard worker, who loved spending time with his family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Carla; daughter, Kelly McCann; grandson, Rakeem Vann; great-grandson, Malcolm Vann; brothers, Dennis (Kathy) McCann and Stevie (Shelly) McCann; and sister, Patti Igo. He is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Howard; and brothers, Bob McCann and Jerry McCann.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at SCHNEIDER LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER. Burial was private at Milton Cemetery in Milton.
