DAVID YEADON Obituary

DAVID YEADON David William Yeadon, 70, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by his family on January 13, 2024. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. David was born on March 12, 1953 in Larned, KS to George and Betty (Woodard) Yeadon. He was united in marriage to Deborah Lynn in 1975. David started his career for IBP in 1991, working in Garden City, KS. The couple then moved to Sioux City in 2007. David enjoyed fishing, gardening and lawncare, birdwatching, and spending time with his grandchildren. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Deborah Yeadon; children: Jason Yeadon, Summer Yeadon, and Shasta Townsend; grandchildren, Michael Yeadon, Tyler Yeadon, Jynessa Horney, Logan Yeadon, Ashlynne Oswald, Zeddy Yeadon, Alexis Yeadon, Lydia Townsend, Chester Townsend, Mythius Yeadon; great-grandson, Will Yeadon; sisters: Lou Nelson, Jane Cameron and Susan Williams and many nieces and nephews and their children. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty Yeadon; his brother Robert Yeadon; sister-in-law Ella and nephew Chris Yeadon.
