Donald "Don" Lee Dean
August 19, 1959 - February 21, 2015
Don passed away February 21, 2015, from natural causes.
He was born August 19, 1959, in Grand Junction, CO, to Virginia Hartman Dean and Dale Dean. He was raised in Grand Junction and graduated from Central High School in 1978.
Don was very active in sports and Little Britches Rodeo. He also loved to waterski, fish, and go camping. He was an avid Broncos fan.
He adopted Cody, his son. He married Marcia Williams, and to that union they had a daughter, Auriell Dean. They later divorced.
Don worked for the Rio Grande/Southern Pacific Union railroad as a lineman. Later he transferred and became a conductor. He retired from the railroad.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Connie Faust; son, Cody (Samantha); daughter, Auriell Linda Dean; mother, Virginia (Lloyd) Freestone, and father, Dale (Joyce) Dean, all of Grand Junction. He is also survived by his brother, William (Cheryl) Dean, of Whitewater, and sister, Elizabeth Buderus, of Thornton, Colorado. Don has three grandchildren, one niece, and six nephews.
Services will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Third and White.
Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Donald was the second love of my life.I will miss you so much,I love you with all my heart and i know you love me with all your heart.We had 13 yrs the good and the bad we always found are way back to each other.I love sis with all my heart.I feel she is not my stepdaughter she is my daughter,I will take care of her.I love you so much.I miss you.All my love.Your wife.
