Donald Girodo passed away on March 6, 2016, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was 78 years old.
He was born on September 21, 1937, to Antonio and Myrtle (McDonald) Girodo. Donald was raised in Silverton, Colorado, where he graduated high school.
Donald married his wife, Janice Lewis, on October 1, 1983.
He was a member of Moose Lodge #270 since 1971, and he enjoyed deep sea fishing, hunting, bowling, and traveling.
Donald is survived by his wife, Janice; sons, Michael Girodo, Boulder, CO; Anthony and Donnie Girodo, Grand Junction, CO, and Calvin Whitman, Silt, CO; daughters, Peggy Rippy, Silt, CO, and Angela Martinez, Parachute, CO; sister, Diana Robinson, Amado, AZ; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Donald will be held at Martin Mortuary, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, with a Graveside service to follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Donald's name to Clifton Fire Department, 3254 F Road, Clifton, CO 81520.

I was so sorry to hear of Don's passing. I know he will be missed. He was one of my favorite cousins, always so much fun to be around. I had not seen him in many years but have many fond memories from the times we were together at family gatherings.
