Graig Garska Obituary

Graig passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2021, at his home in Fruita, CO.
Graig was born September 6, 1955, to Kenneth and Bertha Garska in Grant, NE. He was raised on a farm in Grainton, NE, where he attended Wallace Public School and graduated.
He moved to Denver where he married Denise, had three boys, and later divorced. Graig worked for Jolly Rancher Candy as a mechanic. He closed his tool box in 2012.
He lived in Fruita, CO, for many years. He taught his grandchildren how to wiggle their ears, and how to fish and hunt.
Graig is survived by his sons, Shaun (Becky), Justin (Tami), and Kenny (Jodi); grandchildren, Aspen, Hailey, Nickolas and Spencer; and great-grandchildren, Kinley and Paisley. He will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at Loma Livestock barn April 10, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.

Uncle Graig you will be surely missed. A few weeks after your passing Mom told me i was your favorite growing up. Cause during a wedding i wouldnt quiet down. But you were like give her here and you took me outside where i could run and be a kid. I may not have known you for to long after that. But knowing you were so kind to take a kiddo out to play during a wedding was kind of you. Tell everyone hi for us up there.

Grandpa's trips were always fun. Always teaching us how to wiggle our ears though Im not sure any of us ever actually figured it out. Every time he'd come to town from Arizona he'd take me out to breakfast at any breakfast diner except Denny's cause he knew I didnt like that one. After he moved here he was one of the first to meet MiKinlee after she was born. I miss him so much already. Love him so much.
