Dear Dianne, Jon, and David and your families, -
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I really enjoyed knowing her. Over the years - we had some great talks on the phone together. We also had some very memorable opportunities to be together - specifically her surprise 80th birthday and our meeting one day in Los Angeles to bury Uncle Harry. My dad, Chuck Ellsworth, always spoke very fondly of her - she was his favorite cousin. She was a lovely person and I will miss her. My thoughts are with all of you right now.

Dear Jackie, I couldn't know that when I saw you last summer, it wouldn't be the last time I'd see you. You never failed to thank me for being a good neighbor to Jon and Donna and the kids, and I always replied that I couldn't have wished for better neighbors myself. Your sense of humour was unexpectedly dry, and I appreciated that. I can still hear a 6 or 7 year old Morgan telling me her Granny was taking her to a movie the next day, and I could see how much she was looking forward to that! You've raised a good family full of
love and kindness, and with goodwill for others. I'm glad to have known you, if only a little bit.

Oh Mom, I do miss you, I'm so sorry you had to experience your last hours in the hospital but so very grateful that we were able to 'BE' there with you. It was as it should be. You would not believe the outpouring that has occurred. All your grandchildren will be here and we talked so much about your life and thoughtfully put together many pieces to make your obituary and memorial meaningful and in accordance with your wishes. Some things would certainly bring a smile to your face. I love you. Jon.
