Loren Roth Obituary

Loren Roth passed away April 24, 2021, in Grand Junction, CO, at the age of 64.
He was born November 23, 1956, in Grand Junction, to Harry and Shirlee Roth. Loren married the love of his life, Connie Ella Wilberg, on August 14, 1986, and it was his wish to be remembered as a loving husband and father.
After briefly serving in the United States Air Force, Loren worked as a cowboy on a ranch and then enjoyed a long career as a butcher with City Market. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, sing with the barbershop quartet, ride ATVs, listen to music, and tell jokes. His greatest joy was loving his family and spoiling his grandchildren. A very special Bloodhound named Toby, who shares Loren's birthday, found Loren in 2011, after the loss of his wife and daughter. Toby was a loyal companion and friend.
Loren is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie; daughter, Julie Mariano, and brother, David Roth. He is survived by daughter, Shellie (Allen) Etcheverry; brothers, Curt (Laurie) Roth, and Rick (Donna) Roth; sister Judith Marie; grandchildren, Justin (Brielle), Alisha, Emilie (Chandler), and Vincent (Tyla), and great-grandchildren, Remington, Declan, Stella, and Shyloh Everette.
When his wife, Connie, and daughter, Julie, passed away in 2011, Loren's heartbreak was unbearable. We find great comfort in knowing he has now joined them in heaven.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Clifton Christian Church, 3241 F1/4 Road, Clifton.
