Steve Cline December 16, 1941 - November 2, 2024 Steve Cline - December 16, 1941 - November 2, 2024

Steve Cline was born December 16, 1941, in Denver, Colorado, and graduated from East High School in 1960. He joined the Army National Guard and served his time with the Guard while attending Arizona State College in Flagstaff, Arizona. Upon graduating, he received an Elementary Teaching Certificate.

Steve taught fifth grade in Buellton, California for two years. He then attended and graduated from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.

Soon thereafter, Steve jumped at the opportunity to move to Fairbanks, Alaska to work for

Alaska Legal Services and then the Public Defender Office. After serving as a District Court Judge for the 4th Judicial District, Steve returned to Colorado in retirement.

Steve is survived by his wife, Diana; son, Robert and wife, Michaeleen; daughter, Jennifer; granddaughters, Creighton, Bronwyn, Ava, and Addison; and grandson, Devon.

There will be a celebration for Steve on Friday, December 6th from 3:00 to 5:00 at the Colorado Welcome Center in Fruita, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests that you please make a donation to HopeWest Hospice. They were a tremendous help during Steve's battle with cancer.
