Wilbur Arthur Drumm
February 5, 1927 - November 4, 2016
Wilbur Drumm passed away November 4, 2016, at the Colorado State Veterans Community Living Center at Rifle, he was 89.
Wilbur was born on February 5, 1927, in Auburn, Nebraska, from the union of Fred and Elemena Drumm and spent his childhood in Nebraska City, Nebraska. He was a Grand Junction resident since 1967.
Wilbur was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a United States Army Veteran and worked as a Military Policeman. He was very proud to have been on an Honor Flight in May, 2010.
On December 15, 1947, Wilbur married Kathryn Alice Drumm in Ottawa, Kansas, she preceded him in death on February 11, 1986 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He later married Mary Luella Jenkins on January 3, 1987, and she preceded him in death on October 2, 2013 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Wilbur was a carpenter by trade and an avid fisherman by heart, special memories were made going to Alaska for fishing trips. He enjoyed woodworking and made many memorable carvings.
Wilbur leaves behind three children; two sons, Stephen Drumm of Thornton, Colorado; Douglas Drumm of Billings, Montana, and a daughter, Sandy (Chris) Brubaker of Grand Junction, Colorado. Other survivors include a sister, Doris (Willis) Moyer of Sydney, Iowa; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by grandson, Brent Adamson and brother, Verne Drumm.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016, at Martin Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Colorado State Veterans Community Living Center at Rifle, 851 East 5th Street Rifle, CO 81650.

To Sandy and family,
I am so sorry for your loss he always made me smile I love taking care of him unfortunately I was in California with my own family. My mother had had a stroke and I needed to be in California to help her at the time that your dad passed it was such a great sorrow when I got back and found out he had passed away but I'll always be in my heart and my mind it was a very special man to me I hope this comfort you to know that I always will think of him when I see fly fishing . Again please except my condolences thank you
