Henry Cote' Obituary
Harry could fix anything and loved nothing more than helping his children and their families work on projects. He was a "doer" and a "fixer" and would work long and hard to get any job done. Harry instilled his work ethic into all of his children and was willing to brag about all of their accomplishments. If there was something nice to be said, Harry said it. He expressed his appreciation without hesitation, and each compliment he gave was genuine and truly from the heart. He enjoyed golfing, dancing, and watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren participate in many activities.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 years, Carol Cote'; children, Maureen (Guy) Thurlow, Tom (Beverley) Cote', Dave (Amy) Cote', and Joe Cote'; grandchildren, Sharon Koscielski, Jim (Kelley) Thurlow, Tommy (Amy) Cote', Tim Cote', Mitch (Katie Jourdain) Cote', Mallory (Guy) Soulliere, Carley Cote', and Delaney Cote'; great-grandchildren, Gracie Thurlow, Averie Thurlow, Bryson Thurlow, Kaden Koscielski, Rylan Cote', Madeline Cote', Hudson Cote', Logan Cote', Lauren Cote', and Ty Soulliere.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Marie; daughter, Sharon Cote'; grandson, Tanner Cote'; and siblings, Frank Cote' and Mary Ellen Cote'.
Funeral mass will be conducted by Fr. Marcel Portelli on Monday, February 21, 2022, noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 3-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made according to the Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart Mission, or Gladwin High School Athletics. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com.
