Peggy, So very sorry for your loss. I remember Tom giving me rides home from Delta. He was a very nice guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Those of you who know Tom well may have noticed a faded scar over his eye on the forehead

It was a beautiful summer day and we were excited. Dad was going to take Tom and I fishing back at the river but...we had to find the fish worms. Tom was probably 3 or 4, low enough to the ground to squat over the hole I was digging. The ground was soft and when I brought the shovel up loaded with worms, I hit Tom right in the forehead with the end of the shovel. He was bleeding, and we were both crying as we ran to the house. Mom took care of it, he hurt, I felt terrible and the worms were still in the garden for next time. We didn't go fishing that day. I thought of that story every time I looked at my brother and saw that scar. I love you little brother.
