Timothy Alen Hock

Timothy Alan Hock of Midland, passed away peacefully on Saturday night (Feb. 6, 2016) surrounded by friends and loved ones.
Tim worked as an Instrument Technician at The Dow Chemical Company for more than 40 years. Tim was an avid Sportsman and die-hard Harley-Davidson enthusiast. When Tim wasn't Fishing the local lakes or hunting the woods as his Father Lewis had taught him as a little boy, Tim was out riding his beloved Harley all over Michigan and throughout the Midwest attending many Sturgis and Daytona Beach Rally's. Some of his best times were surrounded by his best friends yachting, deep-sea fishing, attending baseball games, camping, or riding adventures to the U.P. The room would always know when Tim arrived as his roarous laughter could be heard in any corner and would invite all to be around him. Tim also had a great love for his family as he could always be counted on for his guidance or support as his generosity knew no boundaries when his family was concerned.
Tim was preceded in death by his Father Lewis C. Hock and survived by his mother Lois Hock, his sisters Connie Pavlowski (Richard), and Cindy Thurlow (John), and his nephews Benjamin Pavlowski, Joshua Pavlowski, John Thurlow, and his niece Denise Bogz. Tim will be truly missed, but everyone who knew Tim is a better person for knowing him.
A memorial service took place 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street with Rev. Joseph Atchinson officiating. Tim's family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Toni and Trish House.
