Ruby Hansen Obituary
At the age of 17, Darlene boarded a train to California in search of "the good life". Here she found a country life filled with many good times. A homemaker for many years, Darlene always had a positive outlook on life. She retired as a clerk from Ed Flowerdew, Inc. dba Chevron in 1996. She adored her grandchildren and fostered their distinctly different personalities. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Stover; sisters Betty Paise, Marge Peckham and Virginia Wise; brothers Carl, Billy, and John Peck. She is survived by sisters Jenny King, and Molly Albertsen; brothers Bob and Doug Hill; sons Doug Stover, Marty (Julie) Hansen, Philip (Karen) Hansen, and Gary (Nancy) Hansen; daughters Susan (Gary) Petersen and Cis Stover; grandchildren Chance, R. J., Rachel, and Jared Hansen, Kristen and Chad Stover, Misty (Bohme) Santos, Shana (Hansen) Robertson, and numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Willows Christian Church, 200 S. Plumas, Willows, CA.

My Aunt Dean was a strong women and a great Aunt. She never judged any of her loved ones. She accepted all of her family no matter if we had flaws. She supported family in whatever choices they made. She will be surely missed and forever in our hearts and memories. I hope you she is enjoying her reunion with all of our loves ones that have passed.

Well put Oscar! Love ya cousin. My Aunt Dean filled my life with so many incredible memories ... I will hold them forever. Her laugh makes me smile every time I think about it :-)
She was so much to so many. So strong willed and tough but so concerned and caring. I dont think anyone ever though she would actually leave us. I love you Aunt Dean. Thank you for being a part of my life! Rest in peace.

My loving Aunt was always a joy to be arround. She taught me things about life that I have always remembered. I will miss her very much. I cherish the memorys I have with my aunt Dean very much. The times we had togeather were flawless. Say hello to all my kin up in heaven for me Aunt Dean and I will always love you vey much.
