Jennifer Hunt Obituary

Jennifer "Pinky" Hunt, of Queensbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Jennifer was born July 27, 1975 in Glens Falls and had the kindest heart and so much love for her family and friends. Jen was a bright light in this world and touched so many lives. She was an incredibly selfless human being and the best daughter, sister and friend we all had the honor of knowing. She taught all of us about strength, love, hope, kindness, humbleness, generosity, loyalty and so many more things that are wonderful.

Jen was diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy called dermatomyocitis as a young child. It was a very scary time for the family. She faced many challenges but did not ever let that hinder her ability to grow into a strong woman. Jen was able to attend school and ultimately graduated from Glens Falls High School.

Jen enjoyed visits to Florida to see her sister and her brother in-law, who is also her best friend. She enjoyed the beach even though just looking at the waves made her seasick. She loved making her own greeting cards, playing solitaire, shopping (Amazon will miss her!), and making people happy! Jen liked word finds, going to the Docksider for a bite to eat and visit with friends. She loved listening to her music, spending time with family and playing on her iPad.

Jen leaves behind so many people who will never forget her happy spirit. Her parents, Mary and Steve O'Connor; Heather, her sister, and husband, Chris, along with her niece, Tiffany, nephew, Nathan, his wife, Brittany, and their beautiful children, Kennedy, Parker and Regina and nephew, Zach. Jen's step-brother, Matt, his wife, Danielle and their beautiful girls, Madeline and Margo, Patty and Lisa her amazing, loving and compassionate Hospice Nurses (angels) who have become friends of the family, Dr. Tom Coppens who has cared for Jen for much of her life, and so many special friends and family members (you know who you are)

As per Jen's request, funeral services will be held privately for the family.
Those who knew Jen know that she genuinely appreciated your love, kindness and willingness to make her feel beautiful, safe and loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to High Peaks Hospice or Bay Ridge Rescue Squad.
Arrangements are under the care of the Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury and those who wish may make online condolences at our website sbfuneralhome.com

Jen was an amazing person and great friend through school. Our walks home from school and our outings were always filled with laughter. My condolences to the family. Jen´s smile and laughter will be missed .
