So, sorry for your loss. He was a heck of a young man I will never forget helping his grandmother tune into his show every Saturday, and how she looked foward to the visits from you both. Prayers are with you.

So very sorry for your loss. He was a blessing given to the world for a short time. We were blessed to be able to meet up with John and Joel at Mercy about a month ago for bloodwork. We always said to each other it was nice to see you. Heartfelt condolences to all family and friends.

I believe I met Joel many years ago at a summer camp for kids in Mason City.
I distinctly remember Joel's love for and vast knowledge of music and musicians even at that young age. He has crossed my mind over the years. My deepest condolences. Sending prayers of comfort to all family and friends at this time.

You have my sincere thoughts of condolences. Joel was a lover of music. His unending energy in bringing info on every name he introduced on the radio was heart warming. I always learned something when listening to him. And his high energy voice said it all. His love for music will keep him alive in your hearts. Thoughts & prayers are sent your way.

Joel, you gave me a reason to get up on Saturday mornings! As an 85 year old gal that loves the music you played from My Time it is hard to believe that you, who loved what you did, is now in heaven with the angels. I so wish I had a chance to meet you but look forward to meeting you in the hereafter. Thank you SO MUCH for bringing such pleasure to so many people!
