SHEFFIELD - Lori Greimann, 67, of Sheffield, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield with the Rev. G. Kim Wills presiding. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bradford. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service at the church.
Laurel Jean Greimann was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Hampton, a daughter of Clarence and Evelyn (Willms) Murra. She grew up in Bradford and then later years Alexander where she attended and graduated from CAL High School.
Laurel was united in marriage to Ronald Dean Greimann on Sept. 7, 1963, at the Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield. To this union they were blessed with three children, Dawn, Todd and Holly. Over the years the family moved to Hampton, Alexander, Bradford and Chapin before residing in Sheffield.
Lori was a devoted mother in spending her years raising her three children and being a homemaker. In later years after her kids were grown she was employed as a secretary at a local retail carpet store and as a cook and baker at the Sheffield Inn. Lori loved her grandchildren and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - reading, knitting, baking, playing cards, bowling, camping, decorating for the holidays and watching her grandchildren's sporting events.
She was a member of Zion St. John Lutheran Church in Sheffield and enjoyed the fellowship and service with the quilting group.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter: Dawn Greimann, Sheffield; son: Todd (Barb) Greimann, Thornton; daughter: Holly (Randy) Coffee, Chapin; grandchildren: Brooke Emhoff, Tyler and Jordan Greimann and Brandon Emhoff; sister: Connie (Steve) Chambers; mother: Evelyn Murra; in-laws: Betty (Byron) Heginger, Floyd (Arliss) Greimann, Doris Greimann, Margaret Greimann; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Clarence Murra and husband Ron Greimann.
