My love and deep felt condolences go out to Rob's family and friends. Rob was a wonderful friend to me throughout our years together at Drake. I lost touch with him a few years after graduation and was sad to find his passing while searching his name online after finding his business card from the late 80's in a box of mementos (I had tried this years before when the internet was starting to boom with no luck).
Rob was one of the kindest persons I knew back at Drake and we had many adventures exploring DesMoines taking turns listening to our differences in music (he was a bit more into hard rock at the time) and him sharing his love of cars with me.
I will cherish my fond memories from those days and so sad to hear of these loss.

I taught with him in multiple school districts and also lived near him often running in to him at the grocery store and restuarants. I will miss talking to him and using our catch phrases about some of our favorite students. I'm so for you loss.

Rob was my best friend who I met when I moved to Kansas City in 1986. As it turned out we both started attending Drake University in 1982, but did not know each other at that time. Rob was very giving of himself. He helped me move in 1988 When he purchased his first house he gave much of his time helping out an elderly neighbor. Will miss Rob very much.
