Ruby Zobel Obituary
Ruby will be inurned with her husband, Myron, at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif., at a date yet to be determined.
Ruby was born July 15, 1920, in Mason City to Conrad and Christina (Schmar) Weitzel.
She graduated from Mason City High School and on May 4, 1941, Ruby married Myron R. Zobel.
The family moved several times while Myron was in the military, later returning to Mason City to work and raise their family.
Ruby retired in 1980 and in 1985 they moved to Hemet, Calif.
Her hobbies included golf, reading, quilting, cards, shuffleboard, bowling and dancing.
She is survived by her brother, George; two children, Sandra Kuhl (Steven) and Ron (Carol); grandchildren, Susan Wilmes (Joseph), Andrea Mattson (Gregory), Jennifer and Brendan; and great-grandchildren, Timothy, Thomas, Jonathan, Ashley, Bradley, Bethany, Michelle, Carter and Nina.
She was preceded in death by parents, her husband of 52 years, Myron; her sisters Elizabeth, Minnie, Molly and Pauline; and brothers James and Carl.

My Grandma Ruby was not just my Grandma, she was my friend and role model and I loved her very much. I am grateful to have so many fond memories of our time together.
